Custom Voice Assistants for Mobile Apps
SoundHound Inc promoted their AI platform, Houndify, through a digital campaign focused on customizing voice assistants for mobile apps. Art direction guided the campaign’s visual identity, including brand color schemes, illustrations, web layouts, and icons. Additional designers contributed under this direction to ensure a cohesive and engaging digital presence.

Visual Concept
The overall image set the visual tone for the campaign, drawing inspiration from social campaigns like Taylor Swift’s, with a mobile device at the center and a collage of categories such as travel, shopping, and music. This image translated across social tiles, registration pages, paid media, and websites.
Desktop
Designed the campaign landing page in collaboration with content writers and developers. The page served as the central hub for the ‘Mobile Apps’ media assets, providing detailed information, guiding users to register for the gated webinar, and promoting the campaign guide.
Mobile
Designed the mobile version of the ‘Mobile Apps’ landing page. Assets and layouts were adapted to fit mobile formats, ensuring a seamless experience for users accessing the campaign guides on smaller screens.
Illustration
Illustrations were developed to clarify key concepts, such as ‘Increase User Retention’ and ‘Own and Access Your Data.’ Designs focused on the user perspective while highlighting the technology, using bright colors consistent with the campaign’s visual identity.
Organic & Paid Media
Paid and organic social ads were created following the style of the key visual. Assets were produced with pixel-perfect precision and adjusted to fit the different container sizes required for each tile, ensuring consistency across all campaign channels.
Video Bookends
A webinar video was produced to dive deeper into the campaign’s ideas. Thumbnail and social screens were designed to align with the campaign’s visual identity and ensure a cohesive experience across social and digital touchpoints.
Color Palette
The ‘Mobile Apps’ campaign drew from Houndify’s brand palette with a focus on vibrant combinations that would stand out. Blue was used to reflect technology and AI, while pink added a media-oriented, energetic feel, creating a dynamic visual system for the campaign.
